Our Latest Creation

This is our latest creation, flourless peanut and chile pasilla cake.

Chile pasilla y commonly used for breakfast such as scrambled eggs in chile pasilla sauce or for garnishing soups.

Weird? why?, just kidding... about the weird part, this sound and taste so Mexican. If you have ever been to mexico, and tried a regional candy called palanqueta which is peanut and honey, you will get an idea of the taste.

Strange flavor, sort of candied sesame seeds and also that almost vanished spicy touch. Very tasty though, Consistency like chocolate brownie, and chocolate ganache covered. Delish

This was an experiment for school, end up been eaten by the whole class.

  2. 1.- Make a sweet "Picadillo" of lamb with baby carrots, raisins, little pieces of "acitron", green peas, sweet little potatoes, salt&Pepper. and cook it, so it is ready when needed.
2.- Slice in round "Macho" bananas and fry'm but do not let them get crispy, must be soft.
3.- Grease round molds such as cup cake's, big size, cover the wall with the banana slices, filling up every hole among the slices with fitting banana slice pieces. Add raw salted eggs into the Picadillo mix it very well and fill the molds. Put to bake in high temp. Oven for 15 minutes or until you stick a tooth pick and comes out clean. De-mold them up, serve in a plate with white boiled spiced rice, black beans and Guacamole sauce can be a good companion for spicy taste. They Call this dish "Pionono" it is Cuban traditional cooking, and this is in a fancier way...Mine!... haha, must try 'm!!!!!
